People You Find On Every Commute
14 July 2017
If you aren’t in the position to be taking your car to work every day, you have no doubt experienced some pretty grotty commutes in your time. From nose pickers to chronic coughers, there’s always someone willing to disrupt your last few minutes of peace and quiet before work.
Personally, we love a good commute story – we’ve heard everything from bad chat up lines to toenails being clipped.
Take a look at some of the people you’ll always find on a particularly bad trip to the office.
We can’t understand why some people can’t contain themselves into the one seat they are allocated. Get your knees off my chair!
The Soap Shy
It really should be a rule that you can’t get on a bus or train if your oakies haven’t seen a good soaping first. Please have a wash in the morning!
The Stinky Snackers
Who thinks it’s okay to chomp down on tuna sarnies or pickled onion crisps on public transport? Your food stink is almost unberable!
HAVE YOUR CHANGE READY, PEOPLE. It’s not difficult. Just get your fare or pass ready for getting on. That way we don’t have to watch you fumble about your bag for what feels like hours.
Ah, youth. Sitting up the back, blaring the latest ‘tunes’ on their phones. You’ll know you’re really curmudgeonly when you start referring to their music as ‘noise’.
You just want to get on with your commute but the person next to you has other ideas. They want to tell you their life story and then some.
Is there anything worse than actually feeling someone else’s sneeze land on the back of your head? Please, people, use a tissue!
Hopefully, your commute this morning wasn't too bad. Happy Friday.
