HR Consultancy is working in partnership with a successful organisation to recruit a Systems Accountant into their busy Renfrewshire based finance function.
The purpose of this role is to provide support and deliver improvements for the existing financial systems and processes, maintain accurate books of accounts ensuring ledger control and integrity.
The role will report to the Financial Controller, and will enjoy a wide variety of systems project based work.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Support of all systems in use by the finance team (IFS, Essbase)
- System migration
- Managing the financial controls process for P&L
- New system implementation and initiatives
- Develop reporting requirements
- Reducing manual processes through more automation

You will be a part qualified / finalist level accountant with extremely strong IT and systems skills, and will have previous demonstrable Systems Accounts experience. You will be extremely analytical by nature, and will be fluent working with a number of financial systems – Essbase and IFS being a distinct advantage.
